Meet Sarah Boline, a dedicated educator with a passion for teaching and a love for music. With 14 years of experience in the field, Sarah has honed her skills as a teacher at Decatur Public Schools, continuously working to make an impact on her students' lives. She currently teaches at Johns Hill Magnet School and Eisenhower High School.
Beyond the classroom, Sarah's musical talents shine through her playing, singing, acting, and directing. She finds joy in sharing her passion for music with others and believes in the power of creativity to inspire and uplift. Whether it's leading a choir, teaching a piano or trumpet lesson, or organizing a musical performance, Sarah's dedication to her craft is evident in everything she does.
In her free time, Sarah indulges in her hobbies, finding solace in the pages of a good book, exploring the outdoors on her bicycle or gardening, acting, baking sweet treats through her small business, and spending quality time with her two beloved pitbull pups Addison and Ivy.
Sarah feels incredibly blessed to be a part of the 1st Lutheran ELCS community and to follow in the footsteps of the wonderful Milt Scott.
