Kay Wolken

Born and raised in Decatur.  Graduated from MacArthur High School, A.S. from Richland, B.S. from Millikin.  I retired from AT&T with 28 years of service and retired from Samuel Packaging Systems with 18 years.  I was raised Missouri Synod Lutheran but found ELCA better suited my values.  I’ve lived in Chicago & Springfield but Decatur is my home.  I moved back to Decatur in 2010 and joined Holy Cross.  I’m currently serving on Holy Cross Church Council as financial secretary and have also served as Church Council President and Treasurer.  I currently serve as chairperson of finance committee and serve on other committees.  I’m single with no children but have 3 Godchildren that are like my own.  My oldest Godchild, Jimmy, is 51, Drew is 13 and my youngest, Lillyann, is 9 years old.  Jimmy & Drew live in Olathe, KS and Lillyann lives in Macon.  I recently purchased a home in Macon so I can spend more time with her.  I love spending time with friends and family and enjoy reading and gardening.
