Not sure what to do with your used batteries?  Thanks to a Thrivent Action Team there will be a pail at church to collect household batteries for recycling.  Batteries that can be recycled include AAA, AA, C, D and 9 volt batteries containing alkaline, carbon-zinc, NICAD, NIMH, silver oxide, mercury, lithium metal, and lithium ion.
All you need to do is tape both terminal ends of each battery or put each battery in an individual plastic bag and place them in the recycling pail.
If you can't tape the ends, put your used batteries in the container that says NOT TAPED and we will see that they are taped before the batteries are sent for recycling.
